PSWMA Alabama
On the occasion of the International Day of Families, a special event was held on June 7 at South Alabama Family Church. Although the observance is traditionally celebrated in May, scheduling conflicts made a June gathering necessary. The event also marked the first official launch of the Peace Starts With Me (PSWM) Alliance in Mobile.

The first 1-day Awaken Women’s Retreat in Massachusetts was held in Shrewsbury on Sunday, May 17th. Twenty-two women (and three male support staff) spent the day together at the Worcester Family Church meeting hall.

16th Anniversary Celebration of Life “Healing Circle of Community” National Cemetery of the Pacific
Early on the morning of May 21, 1944, a sudden accident claimed the lives of more than 160 soldiers, sailors, and civilians. A spark ignited pallets of mortars, ammunition, and thousands of gallons of gasoline, destroying six ships at the West Loch Naval facility in Pearl Harbor.
