The greatest impact of the National Parents’ Day Celebration in Monterey Park was the meaningful presence it established for the Peace Starts With Me Alliance in the city.

ELIZABETH, N.J. — The 9th Outstanding Parents Awards and Gala (OPAG) was successfully held at the Elizabeth Family Church on July 26, 2026, bringing together more than 70 participants to celebrate exemplary parents whose lives reflect love, commitment, sacrifice, and faithful dedication to family.

On the evening of Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Mobile Peace Starts With Me Alliance team, led by Bruna Allen and representing the Universal Peace Federation and Women’s Federation, hosted its annual National Parents’ Day celebration at South Alabama Family Church.

On  July 25, 2026 Women Federation for World Peace USA held its third HerStory Award Event of the year. Graciously hosted by Adia Lancaster, GWPN Marketing Manager. Ms. Candice Joe, Dr. Mary Pineda and Ms.Tinuade Akinshola were honored for  the amazing work that they do in their communities and the impact of the work is creating ripple effects in the people they serve.

WFWP hosted "Sharing Cross-Cultural Stories: Schools of Africa" at the Natrona County Library in the Barbara Bush Study Room from 10:00 a.m. to noon

Participants shared a common vision of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, identifying several foundational principles: love, truth, God's presence among us, oneness, unity, recognizing that we are all God's children, and peace.

WFWP-HI participated in the National Parents’ Day celebration on Sunday, July 25, 2026, at Ka Lama Iki–Hawaiian Mission Academy School from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

On July 11, 2026, WFWP-HI members joined the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary-HI 0001 for its 1st Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at the Kapilina Community Center.

In the spirit of recognizing those who quietly transform lives through acts of compassion, WFWP Hackensack proudly honored Daisy Joya of Ridgefield Park for her unwavering dedication to serving the people of her hometown of Lolotiquillo, El Salvador.

This year marked our second year participating in the Community Fourth of July Parade, making it another meaningful opportunity to engage with our local community and share our vision of building peace.

After more than three decades of dedicated leadership, WFWP Canada marked a historic milestone with the retirement of its founding president, Mrs. Lilly Tadin, and the inauguration of Mrs. Yulia Tarasova as the organization's new national president. This heartfelt celebration honored a remarkable legacy while embracing an inspiring new chapter for WFWP Canada.

Violet Evergarden is a beautifully animated story about a young woman learning what it means to feel, connect, and choose her own path. Through letters that carry love, grief, and hope, Violet discovers that empathy is not weakness—it is a profound form of strength.

From April through June 2026, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) advanced its mission of cultivating peace through service, leadership development, interfaith collaboration, and personal growth initiatives across the United States and internationally.

Thanks to your continued support, WFWP has recently provided funding to Schools of Africa projects in Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, and Rwanda, helping strengthen education and empower women and communities.
