When WFWP USA members and donors contributed $700 toward a sewing program in São Tomé and Príncipe, the goal was straightforward: give women practical skills that could open doors. On April 11, we got a glimpse of just how wide those doors can swing.

Over the first three months of 2026, HerTribe communities nationwide experienced a flurry of activity and renewed focus. In addition to regular monthly meetings led by twelve of our HerTribe groups, WFWP USA launched the start of HerTribe Online: Spring Semester, a monthly online gathering for women to participate in the HerTribe curriculum, from the comfort of their own homes.
New York - After 27 years, the WFWPI brought back the Bridge of Peace Program at the auspices of the UN in New York in time for the Commission on the Status of Women 70th Session. WFWP USA was honored by the opportunity to support this historic program.
