Grassroots activities

“The time has come for the true power of womanhood to save the world.”

These words from WFWP Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon inform the heart and spirit of WFWP’s Grassroots Activities. Accessible to any woman, our programs provide an opportunity to explore and discover their unique value and abilities to build and ignite transformations for peace in their own spheres of influence. In a growing sisterhood, women are stregthening their impact as women, daughters, sisters, wives, and mothers.

There are many exciting and impactful activities happening every month in WFWP local chapters! Just a few examples include community events such as health and wellness fairs, the “Self-Care Isn’t Selfish” virtual series, informative panel discussions and celebrations of UN holidays such as International Women’s Day, “Tea with Intention” programs for women to connect and support each other, and much more.

Many chapters also organize community service projects such as the Purse Project for homeless women, the Day of Service, coat and food drives, and other efforts to serve and uplift their communities. Local chapter programs are an opportunity to connect in heart with like-minded women and form bonds of sisterhood while exploring and unlocking the power each woman has to build peace, within herself and in her world.
