We are honored to feature Forever Life, a deeply touching book written by WFWP Member, Carol Pobanz. This story was shaped by Carol’s years of service as a chaplain—walking alongside individuals at the threshold of life and death—and by her personal journey through grief within her own family. Out of those sacred, tender moments emerged a simple but profound way of understanding life, love, and what continues beyond what we can see.
Forever Life was inspired by conversations Carol had with her young grandchildren after the passing of their mother. Like many children facing loss, they asked honest, heartfelt questions. “Where did Mommy go?” “Why does Daddy cry?” Rather than avoiding these questions, Carol offers a gentle framework that helps children (and adults) make sense of grief without fear.
