Forever Life - A Book That Opens the Conversation
We are honored to feature Forever Life, a deeply touching book written by WFWP Member, Carol Pobanz. This story was shaped by Carol’s years of service as a chaplain—walking alongside individuals at the threshold of life and death—and by her personal journey through grief within her own family. Out of those sacred, tender moments emerged a simple but profound way of understanding life, love, and what continues beyond what we can see.
Forever Life was inspired by conversations Carol had with her young grandchildren after the passing of their mother. Like many children facing loss, they asked honest, heartfelt questions. “Where did Mommy go?” “Why does Daddy cry?” Rather than avoiding these questions, Carol offers a gentle framework that helps children (and adults) make sense of grief without fear. Written for children ages 4-12, the book provides language that is age-appropriate, compassionate, and reassuring, while still honoring the depth of loss that families experience.
This is not a story that rushes healing or offers easy answers. Instead, Forever Life creates space for meaningful conversations and shared reflection. It reassures children that love does not end, and it reminds adults of the quiet strength found in presence, honesty, and hope. Beautifully illustrated, the book’s imagery supports its message with warmth and sensitivity, making it a comforting resource for families, caregivers, educators, and anyone walking alongside a grieving child.
We are inviting you to order Forever Life at a special in-store price for a limited time, with members receiving an additional 10% discount while supplies last. Once our limited inventory is gone, the book will continue to be available directly through Carol’s website (foreverlifebook.com). If you’re looking for a thoughtful, heartfelt book that stays with you long after the last page, we encourage you to explore Forever Life and add it to your collection.
