Minister Fannie Smith
Fannie Smith is a global leader, minister, and advocate whose life reflects a deep commitment to service, faith, and the advancement of women and families. Born in Chicago and a devoted mother of two, she balanced the responsibilities of work and family while pursuing her education—earning an Associate Degree in Business and later a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University Chicago through an employee scholarship program.
From an early age, Fannie’s spiritual foundation and passion for teaching shaped her path as a champion for human justice and equality, with a particular focus on women and children. Today, she is recognized internationally as a Peace Ambassador, representing diverse communities and cultures with a message rooted in unity and service.
Her leadership spans numerous roles within the Women’s Federation for World Peace, where she has served as Schools of Africa Coordinator, Board Member, and Midwest Coordinator. She has also worked alongside influential organizations such as the Rainbow PUSH Coalition under the leadership of Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr., as well as the American Clergy Leadership Conference, Power of Women, and the National Coalition of Negro Women.
