Loretta Rivers
Loretta Rivers is a dedicated leader whose life and work reflect a deep commitment to service, integrity, and community impact. For more than two decades, she has devoted her career to strengthening communities through housing advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and public service, consistently working to create opportunities that uplift individuals and families.
Her work has centered on helping families move from uncertainty to stability. Through her leadership with Habitat for Humanity and other community organizations, Loretta has guided families on the path to homeownership—providing not only access to resources, but the education, support, and partnerships needed to build long-term security and generational wealth.
In addition to her professional work, Loretta serves as an elected member of the Piscataway Board of Education, where she leads with transparency, accountability, and a strong focus on equity and access. She is committed to ensuring that all students and families have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
