Ani Zadikyan

Ani Zadikyan is a compassionate and dedicated community servant whose life’s work spans across charitable organizations and humanitarian initiatives, both locally and internationally.

As an active member of Soroptimist International, Ani is a passionate advocate for the empowerment of women and girls, promoting their education, well-being, and leadership. Her heart for service is especially evident in her long-standing support for those affected by cancer. At the American Cancer Society’s Discovery Shop, she has volunteered countless hours, helping raise critical funds for cancer research and patient support.

Ani’s commitment extends to addressing food insecurity in San Diego County, where she supports local efforts through Senior Gleaners. Each year, she also dedicates six weeks to Gleanings for the Hungry, an organization that has, for over 40 years, provided nutritious soup mixes, dried fruit, and handmade quilts to impoverished communities across Central America, Africa, and Asia.

In addition to her professional background in the airline and travel industry, Ani has selflessly served as a part-time caregiver, offering companionship and care to patients living with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

On her fourth humanitarian trip to the Republic of Armenia, Ani led a team of medical and dental specialists, delivering free health services to underserved towns and villages — a mission fueled by compassion, purpose, and hope.

With unwavering faith and determination, Ani continues to call on kindhearted individuals to join her on future humanitarian missions through Remedy for the Needy, a cause close to her heart. Through her tireless efforts, she strives to uplift, heal, and bring dignity to lives in need around the world.

“As long as there is need, there is purpose,” says Zadikyan. “I continue to pray for compassionate doctors and nurses to join our upcoming humanitarian missions. Together, we can bring healing, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.”
