Dr. Susan Taffer
Dr. Susan Taffer – Visionary Educator, Humanitarian, and Social Entrepreneur. As Doctoral Chair and Grand Canyon University Professor, she mentors future leaders developing research projects that drive both local and global impact – transforming education and communities. She is the Principal Founder of World Connection’s Foundation, a nonprofit advancing inclusive, accessible, permissionless, learner-centered education, offering free digital learning pods and micro-videos.
Also, Founder of College for World Connections (CWC) where under her leadership, faculty are pioneering affordable 21st century career-ready opportunities for adults. Dr. Taffer’s work champions self-paced, adaptive learning models and integrates AI technologies designed to remove educational barriers for all learners.
Beyond academia, Dr. Taffer is a Board Director of National Assistance League, guiding adaptable community service initiatives, is a Content Expert for two social impact documentary films in production in Colorado, and serves as an advocate for the Community Alliance for Youth Success (CAYS) in San Diego.
Recognizing the importance of preparing the next generation for the ethical challenges of emerging technologies, she leads youth workshops on the ethical and career-driven use of generative AI.
Her lifelong mission is to foster and empower resilient learners, volunteers, and leaders who are eager to reshape the future of American education and social good.
