FEMININE ENERGY, COMPASSIONATE DEEDS AND BALANCED SPIRITUALITY

On March 10 2012 the organizing committee for establishing a Richmond Chapter of the Women's Federation for World Peace, IFC Women United for Peace, Chaired by Missionary Ayano Ishii-Adrien, co-pastor of International Family Church Richmond, VA co-sponsored a Women' History Month program at the Westover Hills Public Library in honor of womanhood and in support of WFWP's Co-Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, speaking tour in Japan.

Under the theme: Feminine Energy, Compassionate Deeds and Balanced Spirituality, Missionary Ishii-Adrien introduced the mission, vision and current activities of WFWP and topic "What you eat is important and how you think is important", then Minister Linda Karim, an Ambassador for Peace, gave the keynote speech.

Minister Linda shared lots of information on water as a feminine energy, that affects all aspect of our physical/biological life, because water makes up over 75% of the earth and our bodies, we must learn to appreciate and recognize it's living health influence in our life, as we guard our mind from negative spiritual elements, which also adversely can affect our health. So, by affirming positive thought' vocal affirmation, I am Happy, I am a Blessing, I am a Good daughter or woman of God we can receive good spiritual elements/vibrations. She shared a Divine Principle approach to living as the program was flavored with the original substance of the divine principle practical applications. Minister Linda has been studying the Divine Principle with International Family Church.

We were privileged to have Mrs. Katherine Cromwell, Virginia State WFWP Coordinator came down to introduce the significance of the Healing and Reconciliation initiative of WFWP and invite everyone to the Bridge of Peace Ceremony that was held in Norfolk, VA on March 24, four sisters and Pastor Fr. Bayo from Richmond would later attend.

A WFWP promotion video narrated by Mrs. Alexa Ward was shown and was so well received. This video was sought out by both members of WFWP and potential members who asked for a link to view it again.

We were blessed to have many supporting gents, husbands, significant partners, sons and brothers of IFC International Family Church on hand to support. Through this event, new interest was gained, membership sign up was sought immediately after the program by sister Mable Williams also an Ambassador for Peace, who is already making plans to attend the 20th anniversary conference in October, she also accompanied WFWP Richmond to Norfolk for the Bridge of Peace ceremony on March 24.

Also in attendance on March 10, was Dr. Doris Bey Burroughs, the second teacher at the Richmond Moorish Holy Temple of Science, stated that she was looking forward to have us visit and share more of our unified approach to ministry with her group. We are grateful and delighted about these developments.

I sincerely, want to thank President, Rev. Angelika Selle and the staff at WFWP head office, for your prayers and encouragement and International Family Church Richmond for full support as we pioneer Richmond, VA. Our next event will be around May, Mother's day.

Respectfully submitted Missionary Ayano Ishii and Bayo Adrien
