Katarina’s Holiday Flavor Cheesecakes

Around the holidays, I love experimenting with different cheesecake flavors inspired by the season. Most people stick with strawberry or classic cheesecake, but there are so many festive options to try—pumpkin, apple, eggnog, peppermint, and more.
My husband is a huge cheesecake fan, so combining his favorite dessert with holiday flavors is a win-win for our family. Here are a few recipes I’ve really enjoyed:
Eggnog Cheesecake – rich, creamy, and perfect for December
Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie – part cheesecake, part pumpkin pie… so good
Apple Caramel Cheesecake Pie – I’m a sucker for any apple dessert
Peppermint Chocolate Cheesecake – decadent and delicious
One of my favorite parts about baking cheesecakes is hearing all the “mmm’s” and “yummy!” from my family. It just makes the whole effort worth it.
Pro tip: Not all recipes will tell you this, but the secret to a great cheesecake is baking it in a water bath.
Wrap the bottom of your springform pan in jumbo aluminum foil to prevent water from seeping in
Place the cheesecake into a larger roasting pan
Fill the roasting pan with a couple inches of water
Bake the entire setup together—the extra moisture helps prevent the top from splitting
