Cozy Holiday Entertainment + Year-End Reflection

The holidays are such a busy time, but I love finding little ways to slow down, cozy up, and reflect on the year. I wanted to share a few things that bring me joy during this season—some are for fun, some are for quiet reflection—and I hope they might inspire you, too!

  • Movie Recommendation: Klaus (2019) – a beautifully animated, heartfelt story that’s perfect for the holidays. Charming, funny, and full of festive spirit!

  • Show Recommendation: The Great British Baking Show: Holiday Edition – a cozy, feel-good series that brings lots of holiday cheer and delicious inspiration. (Currently available on Netflix.)

  • Year-End Reflection Activity:

    • Take a moment to pause and reflect on your year with gratitude.

    • You can do this in your journal or get creative and make a decorated card titled something like “Yumi’s 2025.”

    • Write down one thing you’re grateful for from each month—add more if you want, but the goal is to slow down and notice the small joys.

    • Scroll through your photo album to remember special moments you might have forgotten—pay attention to how they made you feel and why they mattered.

    • The goal is simple: no matter how your year unfolded, each month had something that brought joy, growth, or gratitude.

These are all the things I do myself but never really thought to share it with anyone. It’s a gift to have this opportunity to share, and hopefully it inspires you, too!
