WFWP Maine- Schools of Africa Fundraiser

On November 15, 2025, the Maine chapter held its annual Schools of Africa (SOA) fundraiser at the Spring Point Marina Boathouse—our first time hosting at a public venue, generously provided at no cost. The new location contributed to making this our largest and most vibrant gathering yet.

Guests enjoyed a wide selection of homemade dishes and desserts, accompanied by a beautiful musical performance from a local couple and their children. The warm atmosphere and strong sense of community were widely appreciated. One longtime supporter described the evening as “a blessing for so many,” highlighting the hospitality, delicious food, and heartfelt efforts of all involved.

The event has already raised over $1,000, with additional donations still expected. These funds will support the Schools of Africa initiative and its ongoing mission to expand educational opportunities for children across the continent.
