Mozambique: Water and Dignity at The Sun of Mozambique Secondary School

This year marks the school’s 30th anniversary, a milestone made even more special thanks to you. With your support, the school will soon have new water tanks for student and teacher restrooms and a repaired photocopier that’s vital for exams and classroom learning.

For thousands of students, these aren’t small improvements, they are daily reminders that their education matters. Graduates like Dr. Filipe Mucondua, now a district health director, trace their success back to classrooms built on hope, community, and care.

Kenya: Restoring the Heart of Handow Secondary School

Your donations are helping to renovate the school’s dining hall, a vital space where more than 600 students gather for meals, connection, and community.

As student Marion Arita shared, “Because of you, I walk into class each day with hope in my heart and confidence in my future.”

Handow is more than a school, it’s a place where young people are discovering leadership, teamwork, and faith in themselves.

Rwanda: Empowering Women Through Vocational Training

At New Hope Technical Institute, your contributions will help fully equip the new Professional Training Center with tools for culinary arts, hairdressing, and tailoring.

These tools open doors. Graduates like Anne Marie, now a salon owner supporting her family, and Antoinette Nibomugisha, who started her own dressmaking business and now mentors others, embody what empowerment looks like in action.

Each sewing machine, washing station, and fryer represents opportunity—and you helped make it possible.

Guinea-Bissau: Brighter Classrooms for Brighter Futures

At Sunac Elementary, your generosity ensures that the school’s exterior and classrooms can be repainted, creating a safe, clean, and inspiring learning environment for children in one of the region’s poorest communities.

As one parent, Mário Cά, expressed, “I’m very happy that my daughter is a student at Sunac. I want to thank WFWP for their support.”

Sunac continues to stand strong—offering consistent education, even when other schools must close.

Liberia: Supporting Teachers and Classrooms

Funds raised will also provide teacher salaries, classroom updates, and sanitation supplies at our partner school in Liberia. For many children, these classrooms are their only chance to receive an education—and your support ensures those doors stay open.
