What is International Women's Day all about?
Celebrating women, their history, their invaluable contributions and accomplishments, their stories, supporting their issues and charities, and so much more!
It is indeed wonderful that, in 1987, March was declared Women's History Month and March 8th as International Women's Day. We acknowledge one woman, Mrs. Molly Murphy McGregor, who is the co-founder of the National Women's History Project, which contributed to the creation of Women's History Month!
In the end, when all is said and done, I believe that what we women truly long for and are looking for is to be respected, appreciated and "seen" for who we are, in terms of both our inner and outer qualities.
