President’s Corner: Hope Comes from Mothers

Greetings in this first week of spring!

Yes, spring has arrived here and there, which we all have been so desperately waiting for! 

I believe this particular issue of the Logic of Love News contains much warmth, love, and even color (see "Know Your Colors: Healing Through Art")! As we are still in Women's History Month and celebrate women and mothers, we find the word "mother" in many of the articles. Indeed, we honor our Founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon (in "Mother of Peace: The Woman Peace Leader of Today").As the world around us seems to be going through what I would say are "birth pangs" or growing pains (we seem to be besieged by so much saddening news), let us remember the warm love of mothers and the beauty of Mother Earth. Let us remember what we women rely on that has kept us going through the centuries: faith, tenacity, resilience, wisdom, and unconditional love -- love that knows how to embrace the unlovable and even our enemies. We do this to continue to nurture ourselves, our families, our societies, and our planet back to health. 

Please take a moment to soak in the beauty and love around you, and to share with others about the many good and wonderful things that are happening, that give us strength to go on.
