Dr. Mary Grace Pineda

Dr. Mary Pineda is a dedicated educator with more than 20 years of experience in secondary science education, specializing in physics instruction. She came from the Philippines in 2015, bringing with her a lifelong commitment to advancing STEM education and expanding opportunities for students across diverse learning communities.

A proud mother and wife, who draws strength and inspiration from her family, who remain her biggest support system as she continues her work in education. She recently earned her Doctorate in Education from the American College of Education, further strengthening her expertise in evidence-based teaching practices and educational leadership.

Throughout her career, Mary has expanded her impact beyond the classroom as a co-author of science education books and through her collaboration with NASA’s HUNCH program, where she has supported authentic, real-world STEM learning experiences for students.

She remains deeply committed to empowering the next generation of learners in physics and STEM fields by creating inclusive, engaging, and high-impact educational opportunities that open doors to future academic and professional success.
