PRESIDENT’S CORNER
Dear friends,
As summer progresses around the country and the weather is getting hot, the Women's Federation for World Peace is readying for several hot events in Las Vegas! While many people are already hitting the beaches and enjoying vacations, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon ("Mother Moon") continues her tour and message of "Peace Starts With Me" here in the United States.
Her latest engagement will be a festival at the MGM Grand Hotel on June 22, after having returned from a most successful speaking event in South Africa. This event is open to the public. During that same weekend (June 21 and 22), the Women's Federation will sponsor an invitation-only Southwest region launch of the Global Women's Peace Network under the theme "Women As the Turning Point for Peace," at the very time when clouds of war are threatening in the Middle East. Among others we will highlight women leaders with our Herstory Award, taking a moment to honor and appreciate those who have set a model for peace leadership. In the same vein, and since this is Father's Day weekend, I'd like to take a moment to reflect upon, appreciate, and honor our fathers, whether they have passed on or are still with us. A true father's love is more precious than gold and more powerful than a tsunami, for it can empower a family's children to be world changers and peacemakers -- even in a small way. Here are two brief videos depicting a father's love that is unconditional in a very conditional world, and a love that is also very much fun, original, and inspiring.

I believe every human being needs and craves original and unconditional love in their lives, and we in the Women's Federation for World Peace seek to highlight and honor these qualities on this year's Father's Day -- and every day! And we also honor the Divine Parent of us all on this day, from whence the above-mentioned innate beautiful character traits come!
Wishing all fathers, husbands, fathers-in-law, and grandfathers a most meaningful, rich, uplifting, and joyous Father's Day 2019, and every day throughout the year!
