Dear friends,

Welcome to this brand-new year of 2018!

There is something beautiful and powerful about the beginning of a new year, with 365 blank pages of life available, waiting to be filled with good content!

Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that things will be any easier this year. However, as women (and men) who are committed to living by the logic of love, empowered by our Creator, we will practice to become experts in turning negatives into positives. Together, we will be able to contribute toward positive change in our own lives, our families, society, even the world- and thus possibly change the course of history!

WFWP founder, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, in her January 5, 2018, address to international leaders, which I was able to attend in Korea, expressed her great hope and excitement for this new year 2018, if we stay focused on the philosophy of "living for the sake of others and living for the sake of the world." This philosophy embodies the same heart and spirit as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose birthday we commemorate and honor this month and who promoted a mindset of nonviolence and "overcoming hate with love."

Ever since her husband's passing in 2012, Dr. Hak Ja Han has been investing herself passionately and tirelessly from early morning to late at night to make this dream of a world of peace and "One Family Under God" a reality. In this time, she has been able to create many miracles and much progress. As she always says, "Not by human power alone can peace be achieved, but only by the power of God."

In fact, Dr. Moon predicted recently that peace is not far away for our world, despite how things may look. It simply depends on you, me, and others who will recommit to practicing the principles of kindness, selfless giving, and being a turning point for goodness and peace every day and every moment in 2018!

So here's to spirituality and kindness for an amazing 2018!

Sincerely,
Angelika
