TRANSFORMING LIVES: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MEMBER OF WFWP

Behind every face and every voice in WFWP, there is a story. There are stories of women and men who have been investing their hearts into this organization for the past 27 years, as well as those who became inspired to become a member of WFWP just this past month after being touched by a particular person or event, and everyone in between! The collective wealth of all our experiences is a precious treasure that we can offer to the world and use to shine a ray of hope into all its darkest corners.

This month, we invite you, dear readers, to reflect on some of your own experiences with WFWP and share with us the stories that truly left a deep impression on you. How has WFWP changed your life personally or the lives of those around you? Please send your story to wfwp.newsletter@gmail.com, whether it be a few lines or a whole page, and together let us spread a positive message to encourage each other (the stories will be published in an upcoming issue).

Below are just a few examples of individuals whose lives were touched by WFWP in some way, and if you have not yet made the commitment to support the activities of WFWP, you can become a member today in a few easy steps by clicking on this link:

Rhia Luz – Chairwoman of WFWP Arizona and Buhay Buhay sa Amerika Filipino Online Radio show host

Women’s Federation for World Peace gave me the voice, allowed me to find my purpose in life and paved the way for the realization of my childhood dream! Come join us and be a part of a worldwide sisterhood working for peace!

Irmgard Baynes – WFWP Financial Administrator

Working for WFWP for the past nine years, I have been, and continue to be, challenged to practice our vision: "Women working together to establish a culture of heart in the family, community, nation, and world in order to achieve genuine and sustainable peace under God.”

WFWP impacted me in my personal growth. It has taught me to never give up on being truthful, gentle and patient, to really hear what the other says, to forgive and empower others, to be humble and to serve. Living by the Logic of Love is the only way to reach sustainable peace in myself and our societies. Thank you Angelika Selle for holding me to these standards. I have benefited greatly for my life, both personally and professionally.

Gregory Davis – WFWP Supporter

We had a WFWP Bridge of Peace Ceremony on Long Island many years ago. I was fortunate to have been there shooting video of the program. It was quite moving. The focus was on Muslims, Christians, and Jews. The powerful expressions and deep emotions that were expressed through forgiveness and repentance were unforgettable. Years later I would travel to Israel and experience more historical reconciliation. It was truly life changing!
