EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO AN EDUCATION: WFWP GIVES THE OPPORTUNITY!

The right to education. Since the destructive 15-year civil war in Mozambique ended in 1992, there has been a serious lack of secondary schools for the nation's children, which makes it very difficult for any child to progress to university.

High school and university education means students gain the skills they need to be employable, lessening the likelihood of poverty. Education also proves to be a key factor in a person's level of resilience and adaptability.

The Sun of Mozambique School, one of 10 schools in Africa supported by WFWP, is a lifeline for the community it serves, providing young people with the education and caring environment they need to prepare for university and future careers.

Your gift of $200, $100, $50, or whatever amount you choose, helps provide these children with books, desks, computers, and scholarships! Your gift means a better future for African children.

Editor’s Note: July is Schools of Africa month! Chapters around the country are organizing fundraisers and YOU as an individual can also take part. Contact your local chapter to support their fundraiser or give directly through our website, by clicking here.
