Every day of the month is a powerful time to assess where we’ve been, acknowledge where we are right now and dream our most beautiful life into being. But sometimes it takes a bit of a push to get us started on this journey. Too often negative thoughts and unresolved feelings from the past block us from living our best life, so why not make a resolution to change at the start of 2019 and try this 21-day Consciousness Cleanse?
Starting right now, we can move away from our limited and outdated thinking and tune into our eternal divine mind. Commit to making a fresh start and follow the three phases of this cleanse: the past, the present and the future.

Before we begin, make the following determination:

For the next three weeks, I will work to lift myself out of resignation. I will bring myself out of mediocrity into hope. I will connect myself to a future filled with surprises, possibilities and deep purpose!

And now we can proceed to the three phases.

Week #l – The Past

The first seven days of the 21-day Consciousness Cleanse will be dedicated to revisiting my purpose of creation and creating a powerful magnet of desire for life. In order to do so, I need to clean out turbulent emotions that have affected my relationships. I will break free from traps of the lower consciousness and let go of past resentments. I take full responsibility for what I am experiencing that causes me to reject emotionally what people are doing or saying.

When I think loving thoughts of someone who is close to me emotionally, I shift the quality of my consciousness, and this contributes to lifting and strengthening his or her energy system.

I will write a list of the grudges, resentments, and jealousies I might carry around with me each day to help achieve this cleansing of negative feelings. To symbolize my readiness to let go, I will release them by tearing up the paper into tiny little pieces.

Understanding that my outer world is a reflection of my inner world, I will release these pieces of clutter from my past so that they no longer occupy my home, my office and environment, and my heart.

At this stage, I will be liberated from the confusion, fear, guilt and self-doubt of the past. Thus, I will naturally open up to new realms of awareness, physically and spiritually. This new emotional freedom and spiritual liberation will bring back the healing mechanism that I was created with.

Week #2 – The Present

Having released everything that has depleted my vitality and held me back in the past, I stand firmly in the present moment.

These next seven days are the time to take an honest look at where I am and who I am today. I will spend time each day in reflection, observing what is and what is not working in my life.

There is also a practical side to this exercise. With a higher and cleaner consciousness, I will be the one who is most flexible and most giving in any situation.

Week #3 – The Future

It is time for the final seven days. From this day forward, I will have the opportunity to look into the future and see who I want to be from now on.

I will choose the sacred values and principles that will guide and be the foundation for myself and my family’s future.

I will surround myself with images, prayers, songs, and scents that will invoke peace into my surroundings, thus helping others to find peace and maintain peace in their surroundings.

I will spend time each day praying for others and giving out positive energy to make this a better world.

Each day I will connect with my higher self, connecting my five physical senses and my five spiritual senses through breathing, prayer, meditation and study.

This marks the end of the three week cleansing process, but remember, now that you have made this new beginning, keep the momentum going. Continue to build your consciousness and your awareness of how and why God is working in this world to bring peace and love.
