Mother’s Day Gift to First Lady Jaime Kanani Green

In honor of Mother’s Day, WFWP-HI sisters Rafia Hasina and Yoshie Yamada visited the Hawaiʻi State Capitol on Friday, May 9, 2026, to deliver a gift bag for Hawaiʻi First Lady Jaime Kanani Green.

The gift bag included a special Mother’s Day card designed by Yoshie Yamada, along with information about WFWP and its membership opportunities. Although the First Lady was unavailable at the time of their visit, a member of her staff graciously received the gift and assured them that it would be delivered to her.

This thoughtful gesture reflected WFWP-HI’s spirit of appreciation and outreach.
