Restoring the Orphaned Heart: WFWP Las Vegas Explores "Deep Healing of the Feminine"
In an intimate, living-room setting filled with warm lighting and a delicious spread of fresh fruits, cheeses, and tea, 12 women—including three new guests—gathered in Las Vegas for a profoundly moving afternoon titled "Deep Healing of the Feminine."
Hosted at the home of local member Marja and co-facilitated by Margaret and event organizers, the gathering featured guest speaker Giulia Brad from the Eartheaven Foundation. Over informal bites and intros, the group eased into an open atmosphere of trust, setting the stage for a deep dive into emotional wellness and spiritual restoration.
Under Giulia’s gentle guidance, each participant shared what drew her to the circle. Giulia then led the group on an insightful journey from personal disconnection and the concept of the “orphaned heart” toward holistic healing. She framed the healing process around four essential practices: restoring what has been wounded, protecting what is already healthy, cultivating what needs nourishment, and multiplying what is good.
The conversation resonated deeply as the women explored the nuances of trauma and personal growth. A central takeaway echoed throughout the room: true effectiveness in our relationships, families, communities, and outward service begins with the quiet work of reconnecting with and healing ourselves first.
Perhaps the most telling moment of the afternoon occurred after the formal program concluded. Rather than heading for the door, the room naturally broke into small, earnest conversations as women stayed late to share more deeply with one another. With genuine connections forged and a follow-up session in the works, the afternoon served as a beautiful reminder of the strength found when women hold space for one another.
