WFWP Colorado: Faith Talks
Faith representatives from the Baha'i, Latter-day Saints, Christian Science, WFWP/UPF, and United Methodist communities gathered for a warm and inspiring exchange. The group began with an update on Mother Moon’s situation, offering gratitude for the heartfelt prayers shared on her behalf after the recent Bitter Winter article. Gale also encouraged continued awareness of religious freedom worldwide, briefly noting the challenges faced by Christian ministers and faith communities in places such as China, Nigeria, Iran, and even here in the United States.
This month’s conversation—beautifully guided by the Baha'i faith—centered on two uplifting themes:
How our faith traditions honor life through funeral practices
How we prepare our hearts and souls for the spiritual world
In keeping with the spirit of unity, each participant was given time to share, reflect, and listen. The gathering was not about debate, but about deepening understanding and celebrating the richness of diverse traditions.
The discussion was both enlightening and heartfelt. Participants found meaningful common ground, gaining new appreciation for how different faiths approach life’s most sacred passages. The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of connection, gratitude, and shared purpose.
