The Women with Connective Spotlights

During Women's History Month, Lansdowne women in their figurative hats share and unlock all their secrets by sharing their expertise in a diverse way of knowledge.  Sandra Wilks together with the WFWP Philadelphia Chapter and other Lansdowne entrepreneurs, women leaders, and concerned citizens of Delco communities came to join specialists at Yeadon Library to collaborate on an event. Mrs Sandra Wilks, a Women's Federation for World Peace Herstory Award recipient and marketing promoter, highlights individuals' businesses and life goals. Local experts shared their initiatives that positively impact the community through their connections. They all realized that connections through community networking are pivotal in generating a huge value and importance to oneself as a woman who shares their knowledge. The gathering of 59 people last March 25 is both  in person and virtually marks the unleashing of feminine contributions to society that create informative and visible spaces for the public.

Speakers included ice skating US National champion Sultan Arifah and human trafficking activist. Dr Deshawnda Williams a mental health expert, and Beverly Chandran, a TV host and writer-director of Against Human Trafficking share also their inspiring stories.

The program was also joined by Ms. Black Universe winner Samenia Mayer and Queen Sisi Dash a well-known Pennsylvania vocalist and spokesmodel.

The event was co-sponsored by WFWP and Yeadon Library, with closing remarks delivered by Jizly Dohou, WFWP's Philadelphia chairwoman. A celebration treat was given afterwards and Mother Moons Memoir was given to selected speakers and attendees.
