Tribes for Women Growing!

As women, so much of our personal growth, sense of identity, and self-worth is tied up in our relationships with those around us. We are highly relational beings and deeply in tune with the emotional, physical, or spiritual needs of others. That can be both a blessing and a burden. At WFWP, based on our Founder’s vision, we believe that capability and the nurturing care that women bring is exactly what is needed in the world today. However, when so much of our society is competitive, aggressive, or based on external accomplishments, how can we also make sure we are sufficiently nurtured to be our authentic selves?

With a desire to provide a space for women to connect in a sisterhood, grow spiritually together, and support one another in discovering our unique value and power as women, WFWP launched Her Tribe early this year. And we are so excited to see how it has expanded in just the past three months! In January, we launched with 7 meetups and that grew to 14 meetups in March!

What is Her Tribe? It’s a monthly women’s small group featuring a turn-key curriculum based on Mother Moon’s Philosophy of Womanhood:

  • Our essence is derived from a Heavenly Parent who embodies both masculine and feminine qualities

  • Our journey is enriched through bonds of sisterhood and the shared experiences of womanhood

  • Our dream is to become daughters, sisters, wives, and mothers who emanate the divine feminine qualities of our Creator

During monthly or weekly gatherings, women read relevant quotes from Mother Moon related to our journey of womanhood, discuss personal experiences related to the readings, and do some fun or spiritually grounded activities together. In February, women shared their love for each other by making “Galentines Day” cards. In March, Her Tribes discussed what the ideal balance between men and women in society might look like. So many deeply meaningful insights and conversations have come out of these gatherings! But don’t take my word for it, check out some recent testimonials:

“The meditation was a direct answer to how we can become the kind of women that God and Mother Moon are calling us to be. I needed this reminder, embrace and help to let go of the unresolved feelings holding me back from seeing from God's viewpoint and being able to embrace my inner motherly power.” - Chicago Her Tribe Host

“I didn’t understand the impact of how important this was until we started talking together. These Her Tribe gatherings are a time for women to relax, center ourselves, feel empowered by Mother Moon’s words and then go out into the world and do what we need to do…While we are bombarded with the modern feminist way our discussion allows us to see how women’s power is actually so beautiful and so we don’t need to see ourselves above men or competing with men.” - Clifton, NJ Her Tribe Host

“I really enjoyed gathering together with the women in my community. We don’t get enough time to just be together as women and having that time felt special. Personally, I felt free to be myself, express myself more freely and able to conduct the gathering in a way that feels good. This was our first gathering in my community so the major highlight was the effort me and my team did to create an environment that feels cozy and comfortable.” - Tarrytown, NJ Her Tribe Host

When women can deeply connect, bond as sisters, and feel supported in sharing their hearts, there’s no telling what we can accomplish! We’re looking forward to sharing more in the coming months about Her Tribe and expanding to more and more communities.
