Swamiji Mukundananda Speaks about Universal Values

On May 16, 2023, a Tea with Intention gathering took place in Tempe, Arizona, featuring Swamiji Mukundananda, a renowned spiritual leader known for his teachings on meditation, mindfulness, and the unity of religions. The event, hosted by Rev. Tina Brown, minister of Unity Celebration Church of Scottsdale and the Global Women’s Peace Network (GWPN) Arizona committee, aimed to promote the Golden Rule for understanding and harmony among people from different religious backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity and shared values. 

The interfaith gathering attracted a diverse audience of about 25 in-person and 35 watching virtually. 

Swamiji Mukundananda delivered a message focusing on the common threads that bind all religious traditions together. His speech emphasized the importance of understanding and appreciating the fundamental principles and values shared by different faiths, rather than focusing on superficial differences. Swamiji's message of love, compassion, and unity resonated deeply with the audience, eliciting a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Rev. Tina Brown, who organized the event and is a member of the GWPN, invited all those present to a delicious meal and guests had the opportunity to meet Swamiji and mingle with the other guests.
