2022 WFWP International General Assembly—30th Anniversary Year—Goals and New Developments!
From March 4 to 5, Women’s Federation for World Peace leaders, members, friends and guests (around 800 participants ) gathered from across the world for the 2022 General Assembly. Since the General Assembly was held virtually, it allowed for many more to connect from Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and more. Participants had the opportunity to hear from our International President Dr. Julia Moon and International Senior Vice President Dr. Sun Jin Moon, who both shared deeply meaningful speeches.
These powerful speeches were followed by annual reports of best practices and goals for 2022 from each of the 11 regions around the world. The regions were challenged, by the International Vice-Presidents, to give their presentation in only five minutes!! Although the time was short for each region to share, the extraordinary breath, depth and impact of WFWP’s work world wide became visible!
And especially in this year of WFWP’s 30th anniversary, a pinnacle year, there is much to look forward to in each region.
The second day was dedicated to exciting, cutting edge educational webinars. Creative Coding was presented by Mrs. Elina Razena and the next session was led by Dr. Jennifer Huang who presented on NGO and small business cash management for economic self-sufficiency and the latest financing and funding solutions. There is no doubt that WFWP International is going places, and will be needed more than ever in this troubled world and planet, bringing in positive change through the “feminine logic of power” as Dr. Sun Jin Moon mentioned in her speech.
