Mika Deshotel served as an Elementary and Secondary educator for over 15 years, and a church pastor for 7 years, before joining the WFWP USA Home Office team last June. As a mother of four children (tweens and teens) and wife of 20+ years, Mika has always been passionate about women’s issues and supporting the wellbeing of entire families. After attending the Awaken Retreat in 2024, she was reminded of the healing power that is generated when women come together, and it encouraged her own personal healing as a woman leader. Mika has a Masters in Secondary Education and received her Doctorate in Ministry from HJI, where she also teaches on topics related to intergenerational worship and women’s leadership in the Church.
