Katarina Connery was appointed WFWP USA vice president by WFWP co-founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon in December 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy and Diplomacy from the University of Bridgeport, and a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on Human Security and Graduate Certificate in Advanced Asian Studies. She attended Sun Moon University in Seoul, Korea, for one year, and Kyung Gi University for one semester on a U.S. State Department Critical Language Scholarship. After graduate school, she completed a summer internship in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with a local nonprofit that helps women and children who are victims of domestic violence. She is also currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from HJ International Graduate School of Peace and Public Leadership. Mrs. Connery lives in New Jersey with her husband, Michael, and their three kids.
