KATARINA CONNERY

President

Dr. Katarina Connery is currently President of WFWP USA since June 2025. Prior to this, she worked as Vice President of WFWP USA for over 10 years, a role she was appointed to by WFWP Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. Dr. Connery holds a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on Human Security and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Asian Studies. She attended Sun Moon University in Seoul, Korea, for one year, and Kyung Gi University for one semester on a U.S. State Department Critical Language Scholarship. After graduate school, she was chosen for America's Unofficial Ambassadors, an organization that engages Americans for service in Muslim-majority countries for the purpose of intercultural understanding. For that program, she completed a summer internship in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with a local nonprofit that helps women and children who are victims of domestic violence. In 2025, Dr. Connery completed her Doctor of Ministry from HJ International Graduate School of Peace and Public Leadership. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and their three children.
