May this new year bring you, your family, and your respective Nation abundant blessings. A special thank you to all who participated during the last three years of prayers and gatherings for peace. Sacred First Nations for Peace is an inter-tribal prayer circle celebrating our Ancestors and peoples who have upheld our visions, prayers, and practice of Peace on Mother Earth. Our motto is one God, one home, one family. Please forward this invitation to others who would like to participate, listen, learn, and enjoy monthly SFNP meetings. There is no need to speak, your presence, ancestors, and efforts for peace are acknowledged in our prayers. Indigenous Peoples are always our key presenters and are welcome to present if you would like to, there are no recordings sent out, if you missed it, you missed it. We offer our circle with the Peace Pipe in closure.
Last month we watched and listened to amazing presentations from our Native Elders, Dr. Santos, Dine, and Elder Frank, Yaqui, on spirituality, ancestors, and the Great Spirit. Elder Daugherty brought us to the insights, guidance, and instruction of Angels, spiritual helpers. On January 25th, 2024, you don't want to miss the unique perspective of the Sami People from Finland, (Who lived in northern Scandinavia for thousands of years) presented by Sumi Elder Kathi Huhtaluhta and her daughter Kali. They will present their beautiful traditional language, and music sharing with us pictures of their Nation and Sami history. Elder Frank, Yaqui, will present on Honoring our Inter-tribal gatherings for peace in our family, community, tribes, and world. See you soon!
