Administrative Assistant
Carie Arline studied Nonprofit and Nongovernmental Studies at Northern Illinois University, where she developed a strong passion for building supportive and values-driven communities. After participating in a youth leadership training program, she was motivated to create a loving, safe environment that fosters high standards and good values, where people are free to be themselves. Carie started a middle school youth program at her church with two friends and took on the role of church secretary, organizing events and supporting the community.
When her church sold its building and began renting space at a local school, Carie was determined to find a new home for the congregation. She served as first vice chairwoman and later chairwoman of the local council, working closely with community members and council members to achieve this goal. Successfully securing a new location was a fulfilling accomplishment.
Seeking broader impact, Carie interned in Family Federation for World Peace’s Witnessing and Education Department before transitioning to an HR role within the organization to gain insight into backend and financial operations. Additionally, Carie has experience in hospitality and spent several years teaching English in Korea. Her true passion, however, remains in connecting communities and people.
