RENEWAL OF COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOLS OF AFRICA AT THE 2015 ANNUAL LEADERSHIP RETREAT

On the final day of our 2015 annual leadership retreat in Scottsdale, Arizona, chairwomen leaders of Women's Federation for World Peace USA gathered to renew their commitment for supporting the Schools of Africa (SOA) program. After receiving the latest news of the schools’ activities, including the recent fire that destroyed the girls dormitory at the Handow Secondary School in Kenya, the spirit of heart, love, and charity was expressed by several chapters who pledged to meet or exceed our fundraising goals for 2015.

A renewal dance celebration followed, where each chairwoman wore an African head dress, handmade ribbon pins, or waved an Africa flag to honor the students and staff. See our tribute below, and the news of the dorm in Kenya.
