NEW CHAIRWOMAN FOR HARLEM, NEW YORK: MS. NANDI MOTON

Ms. Nandi Moton, new chairwoman for WFWP Harlem

Ms. Nandi Moton, new chairwoman for WFWP Harlem

This is to announce the appointment of Mrs. Nandi Moton as WFWP representative for Harlem, effective April 1, 2014!

Harlem has always been a place of great activity in our movement over the years, and as Harlem is emerging as a new cultural center now more than ever before, we would like to initiate WFWP activities there.

We thank Mrs. Nandi Moton -- our former chairwoman of the state of Georgia, who with her youthful and determined spirit has accomplished much -- for stepping forward and taking on this new responsibility, beginning with a 3-month trial period (as always) and with the support of Vice President Juanita Pierre-Louis.

Thanks also to Mrs. Beryl Green, the NYC Metro chairwoman, who has been faithfully keeping the pulse of WFWP activities going in Manhattan, and who will support this new initiative in Harlem.

The official appointment will take place at a later point in April or May. With best wishes for a successful new start for WFWP in Harlem!

Warm Regards,
Angelika Selle
