LOVE IQ 2014 YEAR-END REFLECTION

In January 2014, I volunteered to organize the Love IQ program, which was formerly called Clean Slate. Soon after that, WFWP received a very generous donation of books from Dr. Richard Panzer, who is the author of the Relationship Intelligence Curriculum that we are using for the WFWP Love IQ program.

It has been wonderful to network with him and to send his books to other WFWP chapters to support their activities. I always thought that the chapters need to be self-sufficient in teaching the content of Love IQ. In the past, presenters traveled quite a distance to help their fellow WFWP chairwomen to teach the Love IQ content.

At this time, we are offering all WFWP chapters a training for any of their members to become certified presenters. That will give the chairwomen the freedom to teach the Love IQ content in their own chapters to anyone and everyone! Also, they won't need to arrange for someone to travel to their chapter to give the Love IQ presentation.

As 2015 is almost upon us, the chapters that have presenters will be able to take advantage of their acquired certification and share this amazing content to those who attend their programs. My desire is and has always been for everyone to be self-sufficient and to promote Love IQ.

We all want healthy relationships, and that really begins with oneself. The youth really need and deserve role models that embody a well-rounded, sound character. By teaching about the meaning of love and the advantages of waiting for it, the Love IQ curriculum gives young people a logical and common sense option. It encourages them to develop themselves and not look toward others for love and acceptance until they are ready to give it themselves.

It is my hope that through studying this content, people can apply it to their own lives and then pass it on to others. If you would like to learn more about the Love IQ content, please visit the WFWP website by following this link: wfwp.us/love-iq-program

Have a wonderful holiday season and many blessings in the New Year of 2015
