The fog in the morning of the Women's Federation for World Peace seminar gave a sense of being enveloped in God's womb – a quiet and reassuring place where miracles are born. In the spirit of the morning, on this Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Fairfax, Virginia, a historic event was about to be birthed. The Washington, D.C. metro area chapters of Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP), DC, Virginia, and Maryland organized a seminar on purity, which explored the question: "What does abstinence have to do with peace?" Like the historic birth of Jesus, the seminar seemed to emerge quietly and modestly at first, but then it became charged with excitement and urgency. Feminine Energy, Compassionate Deeds and Balanced Spirituality

On March 10 2012 the organizing committee for establishing a Richmond Chapter of the Women's Federation for World Peace, IFC Women United for Peace, Chaired by Missionary Ayano Ishii-Adrien, co-pastor of International Family Church Richmond, VA co-sponsored a Women' History Month program at the Westover Hills Public Library in honor of womanhood and in support of WFWP's Co-Founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, speaking tour in Japan. Under the theme: Feminine Energy, Compassionate Deeds and Balanced Spirituality, Missionary Ishii-Adrien introduced the mission, vision and current activities of WFWP and topic "What you eat is important and how you think is important", then Minister Linda Karim, an Ambassador for Peace, gave the keynote speech. On December 31, 2011 WFWP Virginia Chapter held a small fundraising event for the Schools of Africa along with a Holiday Party and gift exchange. Up until the gathering, money had been collected in multiple piggy banks and submitted for the Schools of Africa. The chapter decided to purchase more piggy banks to place in different locations and continuously raise money for the Schools of Africa Project. It was a lovely conclusion to 2011 with all the sisters gathered together. Since Lovin' Life Ministries in Virginia has found a building to rent, WFWP will have a room once a month for a large meeting and one evening every week there will be a room reserved for WFWP activities. WFWP Introductory Luncheon

On Saturday, April 2, the Richmond, Va., Unification Church community celebrated two years of Lovin’ Life Ministry with a special luncheon introducing the vision and mission of the Women’s Federation for World Peace. The intention was to point up the importance of women’s leadership in the 21st century as a way of honoring the feminine aspect of God. Forty people gathered at the Westover Baptist Church, which hosts worship services for the Richmond Unification community (also known as the International Family Center, or IFC), in order to participate in a family-driven program that recognizes the equality of essence between the sexes.
