Pastors, youth pastors, and educators were invited to a seminar to discuss why sexual abstinence is important from a spiritual standpoint. "Sister Margaret Muhammad gave the Islamic view, Rev. Samuel Mosteller presented the Christian view, and Rev. Jack Whedbee presented the Divine Principle view," Nandi Moton said. The presentations were able to give the audience a sense of seriousness about the physical and spiritual consequences of premarital sex. "Sister Jo Ellen Paige said she was so inspired by the program she went home and had a deep and honest discussion with her daughter about how to dress. She said she just had to empty herself out and share with her daughter and husband what she heard," Moton said. The Atlanta chapter plans to distribute more Pure Love curriculums for the…
Excitement and electricity were in the air as members of the Atlanta chapter of WFWP gathered together to revisit the critical importance of sexual abstinence before marriage as a necessary step for character building. They also sought to educate parents on how to build a supportive family environment for their teens and single young adult children who have decided to stay pure before marriage. The stirring event took place on January 26 at the Atlanta Family Church. Among the 55 women, also some men, in attendance were Sen. Donzella James, Rep. Sheila Jones, Rev. Samuel F. Mosteller, Apostle Willie Malcolm, Mrs. Richadean Anderson, and Ms. Rena Moroquin. The audience, who were eager to hear what we were about to share, were greeted by our emcee of the day, Ms. Rena Moroquin.…

The Georgia Chapter took an active role in the planning and execution of this year’s Global Humanitarian Summit (GHS) held at Emory University thanks to WFWP GA Co-Chair, Dr. Ekaette Heyliger’s participation in the GHS planning committee.  As WFWP leaders we are always encouraged to go out and volunteer for organizations with similar goals as ours.  The GHS, which is in its third year, was created by Dr. Neil Shulman as a way to foster synergism between humanitarian volunteer efforts by creating a forum through which they can connect with and learn from each other.  Dr. Shulman is most well known for the 1991 feature film called Doc Hollywood, starring Michael J. Fox, which was based on his book, What? Dead…Again? The GHS is a free event open to any…
